He has come to meet me

I stare towards the window,
With numbness in my feet,
He has come to meet me,
He kept his promise, he did it!!


I still remember the day very clearly,
Although it's been quite some time;
But the memories are still afresh,
Like that of my favorite pickle of lime.


It was just a year ago,
I had met him at an eating stall,
He was fair, he was handsome,
And also he was moderately tall.


We talked for quite sometime,
While moments passed by,
I felt something strange inside me,
I wanted the whole world to standby!!


From hi hello, we fell in love,
I was so happy from within.
He meant the whole world to me,
Like the effect of glycerin on dry skin.


Then came the fateful day,
He was talking to me while driving his car,
A lorry couldn't hold brakes and barged into his vehicle,
It got thrown over, very far.


My entire world was shattered,
That was a year ago on this day!
God had taken him apart from me,
My colorful life suddenly turned to grey!!


But he kept his promise,
To meet me on this day,
And he indeed came,
From someplace far away!!

The First Meeting

I walked in through the doorway,
The office looked large;
I was suddenly forced to moved aside,
Chunks of people started to barge.


The lobby was quite spacious,
With sofas spread around,
There was too much rush of voices from speakers,
But yet a distant refreshing sound.


I sat on the north faced sofa,
I picked up a magazine from the table,
The reception desk was empty,
And none around seemed helpful or suitable.


Then came the receptionist,
With a refreshing aroma hovering around,
I froze the moment I saw her;
She was such lovable,
I started shaking and my feet started loosing ground!!


She was wearing a blue top,
With hairs tied behind.
Her eyes were so mesmerizing,
I felt I'd go blind.


There was something enchanting about her lips,
I started to wonder.
I longed to hear her voice,
She was way more pretty than her photos on tinder.



I gathered up the courage to talk to her,
I raised up to just say a "Hi",
Inside I was shaking,
I was feeling shy!!


I stood in front of desk silently,
I had suddenly got numb.
This was love at first sight for me,
Shit! I was acting so dumb.


She started laughing at my shyness,
Her smile was something I could forever adore,
She asked me to wait for sometime,
Her voice was so scintillating that I craved for more and more!!


After some time she came to me,
Her aroma making me dazed,
I couldn't look straight in to her eyes,
Her presence made me fazed!!


Finally I accompanied her to the office canteen,
Indeed how lucky I felt!
My pride just got bigger
But my heart started to melt.


And this is how our first meeting went,
I am still waiting with dread.
However, I feel that wasn't so bad after all,
So I choose to be positive and patiently wait for the next time instead....

Highway

I was driving across the highway,
The sun was settling down.
The night was slowly crawling out,
With it's deep black gown.


The breeze flew right over my face,
Whispering into my ear;
"Go slow, be calm and relax" - It said
"Just reverse your life gear".


The chirping of birds was slowly fading;
As every minute passed by;
Distant lights slowly became visible,
Animals started to howl, squeak and cry.


The fields were silent and dark,
And crops swung with the breeze
I felt some one was calling out to me,
Someone had made me freeze!!


The serene surrounding filled my heart with joy,
And I stopped my car to observe;
There was indeed so much to learn and experience,
So much to enhance the learning curve.


But, a far away place awaited me,
With it's warm hands for me to hold,
So I had to drive my way through the highway;
I had to drive away from the cold.....!!

Dreams

Dreams keep you awake, dreams take you far.
Dreams help you survive through your inner war.
Dreams help you fall asleep and also wake up;
Dreams make you pour the correct liquid in the life cup!!


You fly high in the sky with your imaginary wings;

Positive vibes surround you, inner strength encompasses you,
You take a leap of faith!!

The Peepal tree

The Peepal tree stood huge and proud,

Thousands visited it everyday, moving for and around.

Protecting them from outside, filling up their void;

The tree stood tall and sturdy, never to be destroyed!!!

Rahul and Seema were two lovers, lost in Paradise

They took shelter underneath it; they loved the tree premise.

Vowing never to go apart in their lives,

Ghost

The ghost of Julia wanders around the society pool
The winds there howl slowly;
The vicinity is isolated and the water freezing cool.

She keeps on searching for friends, but in vain
Alas!! There is no one to share her pain.
She remembers her life, her youthful days
Her body, her smile that was the center of everyone's gaze.


She dreamt that someday a prince will come, only for her
He will hold her tightly and they will ride to someplace very far;
But destiny had something far dreadful to offer to her,
Two boys raped her forcefully,
She couldn't tell a word out of fear; she shivered but held her tear;

Life became too hard for her, after that day
There was no one who helped her, she was helpless with nothing to say!!!
She then decided to end her life, she jumped in the pool and got drowned
Justice got delayed and this action was frowned.
Although, no body had come to support her during her troubled days,
It's always easy to throw pebbles at some one in despair, while sipping coffee from coffee trays.


She killed both of them, she killed both who had made her weep;
Their death was painful; their death was creepy
The dead bodies laid in a pool of blood beneath the stairs, the stairs were large and steep.
People feared their life and vacated the premise;
No one was happy for such tragedy; but no one ever thought of her unplanned and unwanted demise.

She wanders since then, besides the serene and silent pool;
